The shared table is the only source of truth. A check-in is saved there before the app accepts it, and every device re-reads the full list every 4 seconds — so all doors always show identical numbers. No connection means no check-in: the app blocks the volunteer and tells them to get online.

Data notes on the current list

The guest list is the registrations table, filled by the public registration link. An uploaded .xlsx is optional and merges in on this device only.
Online registrants get a QR code. At the door, scan it or search by name, phone, email or Pit Stop code — first-time and expression answers from registration are used automatically.
Possible duplicates (same phone or email as an earlier registration) are saved but tagged, and listed in the registrations export.
Totals are event-wide and read live from the shared table — every door sees the same numbers within 4 seconds.
